Black and White Self Portrait 2

Hmm, interesting. It took more courage publishing these pictures than sharing my life story.

Florian says I look both coy and startled. Like I'm a bit worried about who is watching me. That about sums it up.

All the more reason to do it then..

They're great!

Interesting, isn't it, how we can trust people to accept the stories we carry with us, but a representation of us in the now, is somehow more risky?

Yes I found it strange how difficult it was for me to publish these pictures. I am not usually shy about baring my butt in public. I've been modeling for artists and students for over ten years.

You are right. It is all about representation. I am showing something that I feel vulnerable about. And I am going to say it: "I-felt-sexy-wearing-what-I-was-wearing
-and-I-was-hoping-to-look-sexy-and-then- I-started-worrying-that-I-was-simply-looking- silly"

Big breath. That was hard work :)

OH! I love this blog-you are so heartbreakingly-honest and vulnerable in your writing-I envy the courage to be that way. The pictures are beautiful-you're an artist! Thanks for the visit and comment and link. I'm definitely putting you in the cool people section.

Love the tattoo, by the way. Is there a story/special meaning to it?
